Sempai Whiting has been training with Sensei Ecker since he was 16. After a long absence, he is back as senior student and instructor under Sensei Ecker. He currently holds the rank of YonDan (4th) degree. Mr Whiting is very enthusiastic and driven and his dedication to OKKK is appreciated. Mr. Whiting tries to encourage the students, both younger and older, to strive to do their best. He is a welcome addition to the staff here at MATA. Sempai Whiting also has taken up studying Iaido (Japanese sword) under Sensei Ecker and Sensei Hobbs.
